ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an accounts payable accountant for our client's behalf for a longer assignment with a potential opportunity for permanent employment. Currently, our client is in the starting blocks for a larger project where they will be switching their invoice management system from Exflow to Medius, and it is partly against this background that they are now seeking reinforcement in the form of a consultant.

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring that the group's accounts payable is managed efficiently and correctly. The role also has a strong focus on service towards colleagues and partners, as well as close collaboration within the Nordic team in daily work and continuous improvement efforts.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work on behalf of our client. We are looking for someone who can start relatively soon, where the assignment initially lasts six months, but there is a potential opportunity for permanent employment.

JOB DUTIES

Responsibilities

Receive, process, register, and pay supplier invoices from partners around the world
Account reconciliation, supplier reconciliation, bookkeeping, year-end work, as well as follow-up and investigation work
Calculate and report currency needs
Service and support to suppliers and users
The work includes both ongoing tasks, project work, and ad hoc tasks in an environment that is sometimes characterized by rapid changes

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a post-secondary education in finance, preferably academic, with a good theoretical understanding of accounting and financial processes
Has several years of experience in accounts payable
Has a good understanding of financial systems
Has good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, but also SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word
Has very good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing, as well as a basic understanding of the Nordic languages

It is meritorious if you have:

Experience with Medius, Navision, and/or Power Automate
Experience working with automation
